I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (license #82447) in the state of Texas, holding a Master of Sciences in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Oklahoma State University.
I have been practicing therapy since 2019, independently licensed since 2021. As an LPC Associate, I worked in a variety of settings; Denton County Juvenile Detention Center, Texas Woman’s University Counseling and Family Services Clinic, Carrollton Springs Hospital and a family therapy group private practice. For the two years I’ve been independently licensed, I’ve worked part time in group private practice with a diverse treatment team and part time in my own business!
I utilize a range of methods molded to fit the client’s needs included but not limited to; SAFE Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness Based Interventions, Solutions Focused/Brief Therapy and more.
I have special interests in; First Responder culture (specifically fire fighters), behavioral/emotional addiction, the culture of manhood/socialization of men, parenting trends throughout the generation and its impact on children, 12-step programs.
